Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal authority to enter into these terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining credential security, and all activity under your account.

You may not share credentials in a manner that circumvents account limits or use another person's account without authorization.

Permitted use

BuildDetect provides construction intelligence for legitimate business research, opportunity identification, planning, and related commercial purposes.

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code, conduct unauthorized automated extraction, resell access without permission, or use the service unlawfully.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Paid plans are billed at the price and interval displayed during checkout. The current BuildDetect Pro offering is $149 per month unless a different price, discount, trial, or enterprise agreement is shown to you.

Paid subscriptions automatically renew for successive billing periods until canceled. You authorize BuildDetect and Stripe to charge the payment method associated with your account for recurring fees and applicable taxes.

You may cancel through the billing portal available in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated. Access continues through that period.

Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees already charged are nonrefundable and partial billing periods are not prorated. BuildDetect may change future pricing with advance notice required by applicable law.

Public data and generated intelligence

BuildDetect relies on public agencies and other external sources. Records may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, corrected, or removed by their original sources.

Classifications, summaries, scores, trade matches, titles, facility types, and other intelligence may be generated or enhanced using automated systems and artificial intelligence. You must independently verify material information before relying on it.

No professional advice or guaranteed results

BuildDetect does not provide legal, financial, engineering, architectural, licensing, safety, tax, or other professional advice. The service does not guarantee that you will win work, obtain contracts, identify every project, or achieve any particular business result.

Ownership and feedback

BuildDetect and its licensors retain ownership of the platform, software, organization, presentation, branding, and proprietary intelligence. Public records remain subject to the rights and restrictions applicable to their original sources.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant BuildDetect the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that content to operate the service. Feedback may be used to improve BuildDetect without restriction or payment.

Service availability and termination

BuildDetect may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts that violate these terms, create security risk, fail to pay amounts due, or misuse the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. BuildDetect disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildDetect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or reliance on its data.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
