Public-source limitations

BuildDetect aggregates information from public agencies and other external sources. Publication schedules, historical coverage, field definitions, correction practices, and source reliability vary by jurisdiction.

A record appearing in BuildDetect does not prove that work has started, will proceed, is available for bidding, has been awarded, or remains active. A missing record does not prove that no project, permit, approval, or meeting action exists.

Updates, corrections, and freshness

Data may be delayed by source-system availability, publication timing, maintenance, connection errors, or changes made by the originating agency. BuildDetect may update, merge, reclassify, or remove records as improved source information becomes available.

AI and automated interpretation

BuildDetect may use automated rules and artificial intelligence to generate titles, summaries, classifications, facility types, trade relevance, opportunity scores, company intelligence, and related interpretations.

Generated intelligence is probabilistic and may be incorrect. Confidence indicators do not guarantee accuracy. Review source records and consult the relevant agency or qualified professional before making material decisions.

Not a government agency

BuildDetect is an independent commercial service. It is not a government agency and is not endorsed by the jurisdictions whose public records may appear in the platform.

No bidding or contracting guarantee

Opportunity rankings and alerts are research tools, not solicitations, bid invitations, award notices, or guarantees of work. Customers are responsible for confirming procurement requirements, licensing, insurance, deadlines, decision-makers, and project availability.

Corrections and support

Customers can submit data-correction requests through Settings or contact operations@builddetect.com. BuildDetect may preserve source records while adding corrections, context, or updated information.
